“ I traveled out to the area for work and, honestly, this was the second pizza place I went to because the other didn't accept credit cards. However, I'm very happy that I stumble on this place. I love all things Italian so I have had my fair share of pizzas and this place is easily at the top of the list for some of the best pizza that I've had. The service was phenomenal too. I travel a lot for work so I'm use to showing up to a restaurant, eating my food and leaving. It's a family business and each of them were very attentive and checking in on me to see how I was doing. I had the chance to chat with Luciana (probably didn't spell that right) and she told me all about the history of the building, of the business, and everything. It was a really cool story hearing about all of the improvements that they are making to their restaurant. She also took the time to provide suggestions on other restaurants and places to see when I'm in the area. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming here again, and likely everytime I come to town. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the area! ”

“ I went here last Wednesday with a large group of ladies. We were all very impressed with the service we received from Charlie, who said it was only his third day there. He sure did hustle and was a fantastic waiter. Great personality, fast, came over to check on us repeatedly and got all of our orders right the first time! Wow! The location is on top of the hill on Rt 6 leaving Ottawa... located next to one of the gentlemen's establishments but I won't judge the pizzeria. Lots of spacious parking in their own parking lot. Upon entering the pizzeria, my friend and I were wowed by the large banquet room. It was decorated very nicely and it looked like a wedding had been held here. We walked down the hall to the large room where our tables were reserved. A HUGE space with a lot of TVs and a dance floor. A very nice open space. My friend and I split a large cheese, onions, mushroom and black olive pizza. We also got some onion rings to share. I thought the food was really good. The crust was thin and crispy, piping hot cheese, just enough sauce. The toppings were fresh. The onion rings are just OK. Our party seemed very happy overall with the service. We kept commenting how professional and fast that Charlie was. I have never tried Alfano's Pizza which is insane considering they have been in Ottawa for decades, and Ottawa is my hometown. I was always partial to two other locally owned establishments. I would definitely come back because I was so impressed with the service and food. ”

If we hadn't seen it on Yelp, we probably would not have gone there as the location is in an out-of-the-way spot, and the outside didn't look very inviting. But, the pizza was good, and it was ready when we got there (after calling our order). ”
